This month, Karl Griggs from CPC Finance was invited to speak at the Hard Hats to Heels event in London: a networking evening for women in property and development. Hard Hats to Heels was founded by Hayley Andrews, an award-winning property investor, developer, and entrepreneur with over two decades of experience in the property industry. Hard Hats to Heels holds regular events around the
country, bringing together investors, developers, and finance professionals to share insights and experiences from across the property industry.
This month’s London event was held at Shawbrook Bank’s offices. Shawbrook is one of CPC Finance’s panel of lenders and is an award-winning specialist bank, serving real estate professionals, SMEs and consumers with a broad range of lending products and a secure home for their savings.
During his presentation, Karl shared valuable insights into the role of brokers in sourcing property finance, as well as structuring property finance effectively to support growth and sustainability in a changing market. Drawing on CPC Finance’s experience working with property investors and developers nationwide, he discussed key funding strategies such as bridging and refurbishment finance, which enable investors to purchase and improve properties quickly and efficiently. He also talked about HMO (House of Multiple Occupancy) finance, including yields on HMO valuations.
