Wishing all of our investors a Merry Christmas and prosperous New Year.

December Investor Day

At the beginning of December we held an Investor Day at which six lenders presented. Over 50 investors and industry specialists attended. The initial feedback from investors who attended was overwhelmingly positive and we wanted to remind you that the presentations from the day are now online on a dedicated webpage.

As always, to make sure you don't miss out on our news and the content we provide online, follow us on LinkedIn or Twitter.

Are you sure your tenants have a right to rent?

Specialist landlord insurer, Just Landlords, set out for us the steps landlords must now follow. Read more in their article on our blog.

The hidden dangers of Airbnb for landlords

Airbnb rentals are attractive to landlords as they can bring in higher revenue with short-term lets than with long-term tenants.

According to an investigative report by The Times, councils say that Airbnb landlords can earn up to three times as much per night as in long-term rentals.

However, if landlords are not careful, they can easily find themselves in trouble both with their mortgage provider and the authorities.

Our article highlights the main areas where landlords can be penalised if they do not get it right.
