Recap: CPC Finance September Investor Day
CPC Finance’s most recent Investor Day was held on 5th September 2017 and was very well attended. Along with many personal and business investors we had representatives from a number of funding and legal organisations.
The prime focus of the day was on the PRA changes to underwriting standards for property investors, particularly portfolio investors.
You can read more about the day and see the presentations here. We have also created forms to support our investors, which you should feel free to download.
Not sure if you are a portfolio landlord?
If you were not able to make our Investor Day and you are not sure if the new portfolio landlord rules apply to you, read our new page dedicated to portfolio landlords. Please get in touch if you have any questions about the new underwriting rules or anything else to do with property portfolio finance.
Top tips on commercial buy-to-let
With increases to stamp duty and the new mortgage tax relief regime introduced for residential buy-to-let landlords, there is speculation that some investors are looking at commercial property in addition to, or rather than, residential property as a potential investment. Since commercial investment is not subject to the recent changes in taxation, is the market experiencing a new trend? If so, what questions should potential investors consider before making the move? See our blog for tips.

Aldermore, one of our panel of lenders, has created a short guide for portfolio landlords on the changes across the market, so that they know what to expect from their lenders as the new standards are applied.
