CPC Finance is proud to sponsor circus charity Circus Starr’s 23rd January show, taking place in Harrow. Circus Starr is a charity which provides free tickets to its acrobat and clown circus to children who are vulnerable, disabled and disadvantaged, so that they can attend a show with their families and experience an enchanting world where inclusion comes first.
Since 1987 the charity’s all-human troupe has been touring the country, sharing magical moments with those that need it most, who may be new to the excitement of live performance or struggle to sit and concentrate. Funded by business sponsors, free tickets are sent to children and their families through a network of hospices, schools, hospitals, regional branches of national charities and support groups; families can also apply direct to Circus Starr.
The charity uses any funds above and beyond the cost of putting on the show to both reinvest and make future shows more accessible, and to donate to a nominated charity. Over the years these surplus donations have been used to keep hospices open, purchase incubators and life-saving equipment, pay for specialist staff and help maintain high levels of care for various charities.
